-Here’s a few different programs I’ve used to train for my races. Often I will use these as a guideline and then tweak them to fit my needs/goals.

21- Easy run: 5 miles @ 9:15 pace

20- Tempo Run: 6 miles w/ 4×1600 @ 7:24 w/ 800 m jogs; cool down

19- 20 minute bodyweight circuit

18- Easy run: 5 miles @ 9:15 pace

17- Rest day!

16- Long run: 8 miles @ 8:58 pace

15- 1 hour crosstraining on stairstepper

14- Easy Run: 2 miles @ 9:15 pace

13- Speedwork: 4 miles with 2×1600 @ 7:24 pace plus 800 m jogs plus cool down

12- 1 hour crosstraining spin bike

11- Easy run: 3 miles @ 8:28

10- rest day!

9- Long run: 8 miles @ 9:24 pace

8- 1 hour crosstraining on AMT plus 15 minutes bodyweight circuit

7- Easy run: 2 miles @ 9:30 pace

6-  Tempo run: 5 miles with 3 miles @ 8:30 pace plus warm up and cool down

5- 1 hour crosstraining on elliptical

4- Easy run: 2 miles@ 9:30 pace
